If you’re feeling lucky and charitable, you should take a chance and bid on the new Rolls-Royce Dawn at the 2016 Naples Winter Wine Festival,
taking place January 29-31, 2016. The winner will not only have
contributed to a good cause, but will also become the first North
American customer to own the luxury car.
“I couldn’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate the first new
Rolls-Royce Dawn for North America than through this auction,” says
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten Müller-Ӧtvӧs. “Dawn is the sexiest
and most social Rolls-Royce we’ve ever designed and the NWWF epitomizes
the social life of our owners. We are proud to make the introduction at
this event and help benefit children in need.”
This
particular Dawn will be built in February at the Rolls-Royce
headquarters in England, for delivery in April. Valued at more than
$400,000, the specially-commissioned vehicle will feature a white
exterior finish with a red roof, white and red leather interior, full
“Santos Palisander Canadel Paneling” and bespoke tread plates.
Like every Royce, this Dawn will include hand-crafted wood and
leather, combined with the latest in modern materials, design and
technology. A color palate of 44,000 assures that each model is a unique
commission. Dawns will have a twin-turbo, 6.6-liter V12 powertrain with
563 brake horsepower and groundbreaking technology that includes the
world’s first Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT) that was launched on
the Wraith. Commissions start at approximately $335,000.
Bids
will be accepted at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort and will benefit the
festival’s founding organization, the Naples Children & Education
Foundation.
